PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a phenomenon of damaging when a concentrated load acts on a tooth crest on the outermost peripheral side, in a jaw of a suspension clamp. SOLUTION: This suspension clamp is constituted so as to suspend by sandwiching a work such as a flat steel plate and shape steel between a cam and the jaw. The occurrence of the phenomenon of damaging when the concentrated load acts on the tooth crest 15c positioned on the outermost periphery, is prevented by arranging so as to retreat the tooth crest 15c on the outer peripheral side more than a tooth crest 15a on the inner peripheral side, by forming a plurality of tooth crests 15a, 15b and 15c formed in a concentric shape on a work abutting surface of the jaw 19 in a spherical shape of a radius R. An embodiment may be adopted (Fig.3) for arranging at least one outer peripheral side tooth crest including a tooth crest on the outermost peripheral side so as to be positioned on a second plane retreated by a predetermined distance from a first plane, by arranging at least one inner peripheral side tooth crest including a tooth crest on the innermost peripheral side so as to be positioned on the first plane.
