<p>A consumer electronic device (10), such as a cellular telephone (40), includes a monolithic housing (12). A display (18) is positioned on a first face (14) of the housing (12) and displays graphics to the user. An input interface (20), such as a keypad, for example, accepts user input and is positioned on the opposing back face (16) of the housing (12). The display (18) and the interface (20) are oriented in opposing directions, and the display (18) overlays an image (30) of the input interface (20) over the displayed graphics to allow a user to view which keys the user presses.</p> |
