摘要 <p>In a case where a color image is used to examine the formation state of an object to be examined, the examination quality can be improved by establishing optimum values as examination threshold values for acquired RGB information of the color image.  A visual examination apparatus (1) for examining an object (11) comprises an RGB information acquiring means (3) that acquires a color image from the object (11) to acquire RGB intensity data of examined portions of the object (11); a storing means (5) that stores therein RGB reference intensity data of the examined portions in an RGB polar coordinate system the axes of which indicate the respective intensity values; and a determining means (8) that compares the RGB intensity data of the examined portions acquired by the RGB information acquiring means (3) with the RGB reference intensity data of the RGB polar coordinate system stored in the storing means (5) to determine whether the RGB intensity data of the object (11) is included in the RGB reference intensity data, thereby determining the quality of the examined areas.</p>
