<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mayonnaise-like food product contained in a bottle reduced in weight which satisfies usability and the preservation of the quality of the contents even if an amount of resin used for the bottle is reduced, and contributes to the saving of a resource and an environmental measure by the weight reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The mayonnaise-like food product is contained in a multi-layer resin bottle formed by blow-molding a polyethylene resin and a gas-barrierness resin into a shape similar to that of a sake bottle. A value 18 assigned to a height from the grounding surface of the bottom and to the lower end of the cap when the bottle with a cap fitted thereon is erected is equally divided. The circumferential length at a height of 4 extending upward from the bottom is represented by X and the wall thickness of the bottle at the position is represented by A, and the circumferential length at a height of 14 is represented by Y and the wall thickness of the bottle at the position is represented by B.
