<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a liquid crystal display thinner than a conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display includes a wide LED substrate for mounting n (≥2)-sets of light-emitting diodes, and a connection substrate for connecting the LED substrate and a flexible wiring board. The LED substrate includes first wiring for supplying first power source voltage to each of the n-sets of light-emitting diodes, and n-sets of second wiring for supplying second power source voltage to each of the n-sets of light-emitting diodes. the n-sets of the first wiring and the n-sets of second wiring on the LED substrate are formed without crossing each other while the first wiring and the second wiring are set up to be a pair per each light-emitting diode, the n-sets of the first wiring and the n-sets of the second wiring are formed on the connection substrate, n-pairs of the first wiring and the second wiring of each light-emitting diode on the connection substrate are formed at order of the n-sets of light-emitting diodes mounted on the LED substrate. On the flexible wiring board, the n-sets of the first wiring are connected with common first wiring connected with an I/F section by relay wiring formed on an opposite surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
