PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an upper structure of a vehicle body capable of reducing booming noise in a cabin with a simple structure without increasing the cost or the weight. SOLUTION: The upper structure of the vehicle body includes a cowl panel 11 to be joined with a lower end of a windshield 1, a front member 31 to be joined with an upper end of the windshield 1 and a front end of a roof panel 3, and a rear member 33 to be joined with a rear end of the roof panel 3 and a front end of a rear window 2. The natural frequencies of the cowl panel 11, the front member 31 of the roof panel 3, and the rear member 33 are higher in the order of the cowl panel 11, the front member 31, and the rear member 33.
