PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed type casting apparatus that can improve casting quality by feeding molten metal absolute minimum for a capacity of a die so as to attain highly efficient casting with reduced flashes, and by detecting accurate temperature of the molten metal supplied to the die so as to control the temperature of the molten metal. SOLUTION: The sealed type casting apparatus includes: a casting device that makes casting products by force-feeding molten metal supplied to a sleeve into a die by means of a plunger tip connected to a cylinder device; and a molten metal feeding device that has a heating device for heating metal to form molten metal and a transporting tube for connecting the heating device with the sleeve, wherein the casting apparatus is structured so that no molten metal comes in contact with atmospheric air. In the casting apparatus, there are installed a feeding molten metal quantity adjusting mechanism that has a chamber which the molten metal is caused to flow in from the heating device and in which the molten metal quantity is adjusted, and a feeding cylinder device by which the molten metal transported by the transporting tube is supplied to the sleeve.
