<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a coil by which an increase in electric resistance due to residual stress or residual strain is reduced, and change in shape due to spring-back is relaxed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the coil 1 includes a molding step of molding the coil by winding a winding wire 2 mainly made up of copper and having an insulating coating, and a heat treatment step of supplying electricity to the coil to heat the coil.
