<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical frame, which suppresses displacement of the optical axis of an optical element even when an optical frame to which the optical element is to be fixed is formed by die casting. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the optical frame to which the optical element is to be fixed includes: a molding step S2 of forming the optical frame by die casting; and a forced cooling step S3 of forcedly cooling the optical frame after the molding step S2.
