<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which installation state of a seal member in a housing chamber can be sufficiently checked. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes a housing 2 having a housing groove to house a mating connector, a seal member 3 which is inserted in the housing groove and is installed on a housing body of the housing 2, and a visible hole which is opened at the side face of the housing 2 and exposes the seal member 3 installed on the housing body to the outside. The visible hole consists of a through hole 222a opened on a hood 22 covering the housing body of the housing 2 and a penetrating groove 23a of a locking member 23 located on the hood 22.
