<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prefilter and main filter combined type filter apparatus capable of performing maintenance even with respect to a main filter member replaced with a new one heretofore without being wholly reutilized to enable reutilization and considering even maintenance washing work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Frame members are assembled into an almost square shape to form a frame body and a prefilter member, which is constituted by bending a sheetlike filter medium into a mountain-valley-shaped-zigzag repeatedly bent structure, and a main filter member are attached to the opening of the frame body. In the prefilter member, non-adhesive member parts are formed in the valley bottoms to adhere the facing sites with an adhesive. In the main filter member, a plurality of reinforcing ribs are formed to both of the surface and back sides of the sheetlike filter medium so as to leave an interval in the up and down directions of the main filter member and the slot-like drain hole communicating with the space provided between the prefilter member and the main filter member are provided to the under side frame member constituting the frame body by drilling.
