<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit formation of sludge and deterioration of oil. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine 1 is provided with an oil drop passage 18 providing communication between a crank chamber 9 and a valve chamber 8 on a cylinder head 5, and is provided with a check valve 19 opened by weight of oil stored inside in the oil drop passage 18.
