<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recycling method of a punching die for paper ware or the like enabling the removing work of irregularity and recycling an original base material, and also to provide a regenerated base material of the punching die for the paper ware or the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The punching die is used for allowing a band-shaped blade to be press-fitted in the original penetration groove 3A of the original base material 2A and making its edge protrude from the upper surface side of the original base material, and thereafter a synthetic resin adhesive 22 is filled into the original penetration groove 3A after pulling out the band-shaped blade from the original base material 2A, and is hardened to form the regenerated base material 2B.
