PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection mold, which has improved mold release controllability. SOLUTION: The mold 2, which is used for producing a light diffusion plate 16 having rugged patterns on both surfaces thereof, is provided with: a first mold 11 on which the first pattern to be imparted to one surface of the molded article 16 is formed; and a second mold 8 on which the second pattern to be imparted to the other surface of the molded article 16 is formed. Planes 21, 22 constituting the first pattern consist respectively of a first portion pa1 having≥10 nm average surface roughness and a second portion pa2 having <10 nm average surface roughness and planes 23, 24 constituting the second pattern consist respectively of a third portion pb1 having≥10 nm average surface roughness and a fourth portion pb2 having <10 nm average surface roughness. When the ratio of the area of the first portion to the whole area of the first pattern is denoted as R1 and the ratio of the area of the third portion to the whole area of the second pattern is denoted as R2, the relationship: R1≥R2×1.2 is satisfied.
