The sealing device has at least one induction coil (6) of an at least partly flexible conductor (6c,6d) for melting a container (2) opening with a sealing film. The induction coil has two halves (6a,6b) arranged at a distance (d) apart in which the conductor runs essentially parallel to a direction of motion (B) and between which the containers move, whereby the coil halves are connected via at least one flexible connector loop extending perpendicular to the direction of motion : An independent claim is also included for a sealing head form a sealing device.
