The invention relates to a signal processing, in a backward structure including at least first (W21) and second (W21) filters arranged between a main path (V1) conveying a first signal (Xp(z)) and a reference path (V2) conveying a second signal (Xp(z)), for reducing in the first signal (Xp(z)) the noise estimated in the second signal (Xr(z)). At least a first adaptive filtering calculation (W1) is applied based on a difference estimated from the first and second signals taken upstream from the first and second filters in said main and reference paths. The first filtering calculation is then imposed to one (W21) of the first and second filters for updating.
