METHOD, SINGLE BOARD AND SYSTEM FOR PORT CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT

A method, single board and system for port configuration management are provided. The method comprises the following steps: receiving port configuration information; determining the physical positions of the ports corresponding to the said port configuration information; configuring and managing the corresponding ports of the first single board according to the said port configuration information if the physical positions of the ports corresponding to the said port configuration information are on the first single board, sending the said port configuration information to the second single board and configuring and managing the corresponding ports of the second single board according to the said port configuration information if the physical positions of the ports corresponding to the said port configuration information are on the second single board. With the embodiments of the invention, the ports of the first single board and the second single board are managed uniformly, the backup of the ports and the backup of the single boards are independent, the switching of the main/standby single boards is not triggered by the event that one port of the single boards is unusable, the reliability can be improved.
