APPARATUS FOR STORAGING PAPER MONEY IN AN ATM AND SO ON AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for storing a paper-money in an automatic teller machine is provided to compact the size of the automatic teller machine by vertically inserting the paper-money toward a storage unit. CONSTITUTION: An insert opening(10) vertically inserts a deposited paper-money. A pair of opening and closing plates supports both side of the paper-money. A section for a storage unit is around the insert opening. A driving motor performs the stroke operation of a push bar. A pair of push plates(60, 62) support the stored paper money by driving the stroke operation of the push bar.
