<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and an image elimination program capable of continuing interrupted data entity elimination processing without storing a file name under the elimination processing even when the elimination processing is interrupted during the elimination processing of the data entity of a file. <P>SOLUTION: When the elimination of files for storing image data stored in an input processor 21, a plotting processing part 23 and an image data output part 25 is instructed, the file names of elimination object files 111-121 are rewritten, and they are moved to elimination object storage directories 110-130 prepared in the respective top directories of file systems 100-1 to 100-3.
