摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time when, when an electronic device is at a low temperature, a heater for heating a crystal oscillator is turned on and it is energized for a predetermined time until its oscillation frequency is stabilized and to reduce deviation from a desired oscillation frequency. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a casing of the electronic device 100, the casing includes: a temperature detection means for detecting temperature of the casing; a crystal oscillator 610; a heater 620 for heating the crystal oscillator 610; and a heater control means 640 for controlling electric conduction to the heater 620. The heater control means includes a timing means that starts timing when the power is turned on and measures a predetermined time. When the electronic device is turned on, the heater control means 640 starts electric conduction to the heater 620 when the casing is at a prescribed temperature or lower, and the electric conduction to the heater 620 is stopped in the predetermined time.
