<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless base station capable of predicting generation of the thunder at a position where a user of a portable terminal exists, and promptly reporting prediction of generation of the thunder to a user of a portable terminal having no thunder generation prediction function. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the wireless base station which is connected to a wireless communication network, and has a function for controlling one or more wireless terminals, it is provided with: a thunder generation prediction means for predicting generation of the thunder based on a wireless signal which an own wireless base station receives; and a reporting means for reporting prediction of generation of the thunder to a wireless terminal in which the wireless signal which the own base station receives has predetermined field intensity among wireless terminals when generation of the thunder is predicted by the thunder generation prediction means.
