PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a photocatalyst with higher performance, and the photocatalyst manufactured thereby.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the composite photocatalyst includes processes of: forming metal-coated core particles by mechanically coating core particles with metal; forming core particles coated with metal coated with anatase-type titanium oxide by mechanically coating the metal-coated core particles with the anatase-type titanium oxide powder; and thermally oxidizing the core particles coated with metal coated with anatase-type titanium oxide powder.
