<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating Nameko mushroom enabling normal production of Nameko mushroom from oversummering logs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for cultivating Nameko mushroom includes: inoculating mushroom fungi into a log cut into a long one in every direction; piling up the fungi-inoculated logs; putting a sheet over the logs to cure them at 20-27°C at a humidity of 70-80% for 2-3 months followed by cutting the logs each into 15-25 cm as short logs; thickly arranging the short logs on the ground in lines; curing the short logs for about one month while putting the sheet over the short logs to adjust the temperature to 20-27°C and the humidity to 70-80%; and placing the cured short logs on the ground having less direct sunlight at intervals.
