<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device for preferentially cooling either one of a PDP (Plasma Display Panel) or a data driver as needed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The plasma display device 1A has a case 4 provided with a first air intake section 43A at a position corresponding to a data driver 33 and a second air intake section 43B above the first air intake section 43A, and a slide plate 5 moving along the case 4. When the temperature of the data driver 33 is relatively low, the slide plate 5 is moved by a movement mechanism 6A to a reference position where a third opening 51 of the slide plate 5 is aligned with a second opening 43b of the second air intake section 43B.
