PURPOSE: A method for displaying information window and a display apparatus thereof are provided to display picture and information window at the same time and to enable the setting of design and indicating condition of the information window. CONSTITUTION: A network interface(10) receives time-varying information from an external source. An OSD(On Screen Display) generator(30) generates information window for displaying the time-variant information. A signal processing unit(40) processes video signal in order to be displayed. A display unit(60) displays the information window and the processed video signal on a screen. A controller(70) displays the information window on a detected position.
