METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROTOTYPING THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for prototyping a three-dimensional object.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for manufacturing a three-dimensional object from a display of a three-dimensional object stored in a memory includes: a laminating device for forming a layer of powder material; a supplier for supplying a binder liquid which forms a solid structure by reacting with the powder material; a supplier for supplying a combinable dye for preparing a plurality of identified colors; and a printer for applying the binder liquid and the dye to a selected position on the layer of the powder material so as to form a cross section of the object by solidification of the binder liquid with the powder material region.
