PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation apparatus intended for performing vertical movement by a simple mechanism with a comb-like rod. SOLUTION: The cultivation apparatus is such that a first vertical transport mechanism 40A transports all cultivation beds 10A put on one cultivation bed putting mechanism 20A, and cultivation beds 10A put on a second horizontal transport mechanism 30B and located on the other end of the one cultivation bed putting mechanism 20A, until the cultivations beds 10A put on the one end of the one cultivation bed putting mechanism 20A are put on a first horizontal transport mechanism 30A. Furthermore, a second vertical transport mechanism 40B transports all cultivation beds 10B put on the other cultivation bed putting mechanism 20B, and cultivation beds 10B put on the first horizontal transport mechanism 30A and located on one end of the other cultivation bed putting mechanism 20B, until the cultivations beds 10B put on the other end of the other cultivation bed putting mechanism 20B are put on the second horizontal transport mechanism 30B.
