<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a night view system which is hard to be affected by a distance of a pedestrian and an artificial article, and can suppress an increase of a process load to identify the artificial article and the pedestrian. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The night view system 100 detects a pedestrian 13 from taken image data, and call a driver's attention to a presence of the pedestrian 13. The night view system has: a pedestrian candidate detecting means 24 for detecting a pedestrian candidate from the image data to be taken every cycle times; and a sorting means 25 for monitoring the same pedestrian candidate in the image data every cycle times, and for determining that the pedestrian candidate is not a pedestrian when an amount of change of a position or size of the pedestrian candidate is within a threshold.
