<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polycarbonate resin composition exhibiting excellent flame retardancy and surface hardness, causing less yellowing, and having good appearance with high whiteness. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of an aromatic polycarbonate resin, 5-25 pts.wt. of titanium oxide, 0.01-1 pt.wt. of a metal salt compound, 0.01-1 pt.wt. of a fluoropolymer, and 0.1-5 pts.wt. of a silicone resin, wherein a unit represented by RSiO<SB>1.5</SB>(R is a 1-12C monovalent hydrocarbon group) is contained in an amount of 50 mol% or more for the whole siloxane units while an aromatic group content in the whole of contained hydrocarbon groups is 50 mol% or more and a silanol group content is 2.5-10 wt.%.
