PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component which is compact and can remove noise of high frequency. SOLUTION: A common mode choke coil 1 is constituted by providing a laminate 2 between first and second magnetic substrates 16 and 17. Further, the laminate 2 is formed by stacking a first insulating layer 3, a primary coil 8, an inter-coil insulating layer 9, a secondary coil 14, a second insulating layer 15, etc. The first and the second magnetic substrates 16 and 17, on the other hand, are constituted by sandwiching low-dielectric-constant layers 16C and 17C between two magnetic layers 16A and 16B, and two magnetic layers 17A and 17B, respectively. Consequently, some of electric lines of force generated at circumferences of the coils 8 and 14 pass through the low-dielectric-constant layers 16C and 17C, and coils 8 and 14 decrease in stray capacity.
