PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine capable of attaining appropriate power saving according its installation location and use state. SOLUTION: The vending machine 100 is provided with a plurality of function parts (a lighting part 2, an operation part 3, a temperature regulation part 4, a money identification part 5, a commodity conveying part 6, and the like) which attain functions of the vending machine 100, an interface part (a maintenance operation part 8) outputting a setting signal to set an action of the vending machine 100, and a sleep control part 1a outputting a sleep control signal to a plurality of function parts for performing sleep shift/reset control of a plurality of function parts individually according to a sleep condition set based on the setting signal inputted from the interface part.
