METHOD FOR REALIZING PERMANENT RING NETWORK PROTECTION IN MESH NETWORK

A method for realizing permanent ring network protection in MESH network, the method includes following steps: when a node in the ring network protection group detects the failure of a span, notifies the information of the failure to other nodes in the ring network protection group(11); the service influenced by the failure is switched to be transmitted in it's protection route by each node in the ring network protection group (12); searching a replacing route for the failure span in the idle resource of the MESH network(13); establishing a new ring network protection group by adopting the replacing route and the sections in the original network protection group which is not influenced by the failure(14); and the service influenced by the failure is switched from transmitting via protection route to transmitting via the replacing route(15). The present invention can provide permanent ring network protection function for all services in the ring network.
