The invention relates to a seat arrangement for a vehicle, comprising an adjustable seat part and a locking unit for locking the seat part in a locked position, which can be unlocked in order to adjust the seat part manually. A drive unit (30, 31) which can be coupled to a driver element (32) in order to adjust the seat part (11) in a motorised manner, is provided, said driver element (32) being designed and provided to adjust the seat part in a motorised manner transmitting an adjusting force to the seat part (11). The invention also relates to a method for adjusting the seat part. The seat arrangement and the method for adjusting a seat part of a seat arrangement enables a seat part to be adjusted in a motorised manner without essentially changing the construction of a seat arrangement and without impairing the manual adjustability of the seat part.
