<p>A disc brake device has a piston (15) movably supported on a cylinder section (21) of a caliper (14). When pressurized, the piston (15) can advance to press friction pads (12, 13) to a disc rotor (11), and when the pressure is removed, the piston (15) can be pulled back to an initial position by a seal mechanism (28) provided to the cylinder section (21). The seal mechanism (28) comprises a mover (31) provided between the cylinder section (21) and the piston (15) and capable of advancing in the same direction as the piston (15), a first seal member (33) elastically mounted between the piston (15) and the mover (31) and causing the mover (31) to follow the piston (15), a low-elasticity member (37) capable of being compressed and deformed through the mover (31) by initial pressurization of the piston (15), and a high-elasticity member (38) capable of being compressed and deformed through the mover (31) by pressurization of the piston (15).</p> |
