The sensor has a magnet element, a flow deflector arrangement and a sensor element (7) e.g. Hall sensor, that is utilized for determining magnetic flux density, where the magnet element is firmly connected with a rotor. The flow deflector arrangement is arranged in the magnet element at a distance, where flow deflectors are made of soft iron. The deflector arrangement and the magnet element are rotated relatively to each other, where effect of the magnetic field of the magnet element on the deflector arrangement varies over a longitudinal axis (11) of the magnet element.
