PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the workload of establishing wireless communication between a vehicle-mounted device, which is mounted to a vehicle, and a mobile terminal existing within the vehicle. SOLUTION: A vehicle-mounted device is mounted to a vehicle to provide information to users within the vehicle, and the vehicle-mounted device includes: a transmission unit for wirelessly transmitting initial response instructions for enabling wireless communication between the vehicle-mounted device and one or more mobile terminals owned by the users within the vehicle, to the one or more mobile terminals; a receiption unit for receiving responses from the one or more mobile terminals in response to the initial response instructions from the transmission unit; a selection and acceptance unit for accepting, based on the results of reception by the reception unit, a mobile terminal selected by the user to request authentication for connection through wireless communication; and a wireless communication establishing unit for establishing wireless communication between the mobile terminal accepted by the selection and acceptance unit and the vehicle-mounted device and enabling wireless communication therebetween.
