The subject of the invention is a pendulum engine for multipurpose usage. The pendulum engine is characterised in that it comprises an engine block (3) (body) with a head, a shaft (1) with at least one blade (2), combustion chambers (4) (5). The shape of the combustion chambers (4) and (5) is determined by the shape of the blade (2), and the depth of the chamber determines the range of the angular movement (2a) which is made by the blade (2) during work. The blade (2) which is fixed to the pendulum engine shaft (1) on its both sides plays the role which is adequate to a piston role in a piston combustion engine.
