APPARATUS FOR MONITORING SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring apparatus which presumes an increase degree of a battery resistance occurring in a large current zone of a secondary battery.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for monitoring the secondary battery includes: a measuring section for measuring a battery voltage value Vb and a battery current value Ib of the secondary battery as respective battery state quantities; a battery state quantity presuming section 52 for presuming one of the battery state quantities on the basis of the other of the battery state quantities, in accordance with a battery model being previously given; and a battery resistance increase degree presuming section 54 for presuming the increase degree of the battery resistance of the secondary battery, based on the measured value and the presumed value of the one of the battery state quantities.
