<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radar device capable of improving detection performance of a target by adding continuous range bin signals having amplitude and phase information. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device includes: a reception section 4 for performing frequency conversion and I, Q phase detection of a reception signal, generating a complex video signal of I, Q components, and outputting a high distance resolution signal for increasing distance resolution by distance resolution; a load calculation section 6 for calculating a load value for assigning weight to continuous range bin signals to the high distance resolution signal; a weighting section 7 for assigning weight to continuous range bin signals by the load value; an inter-range-bin integration section 8 for adding continuous range bin signals; a calculation control section 5 for controlling the load calculation section 6, the weighting section 7, and the inter-range-bin integration section 8 so that range bins being continuous by the number of range bins are moved in a distance direction by setting the number of range bins according to the ratio of target dimension data to distance resolution; a detection section 9 for detecting a signal outputted from the inter-range-bin integration section 8; and a target detection section 10 for detecting a target by a signal outputted from the detection section 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
