摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user interface method for a terminal which recognizes trajectory and direction of a touch by a user, especially, on a touch screen or a touch pad, etc., and processes an instruction from the user based on the trajectory and direction. <P>SOLUTION: The method is implemented by a terminal 100 which includes a touch screen 110 to recognize a position touched by the user on the touch screen 110. The method includes: a step (a) of searching a touch-key value table stored in the terminal 100 when the touch by the user is started from one of multiple external points predetermined by the terminal 100 and ended at one of the multiple external points by way of an internal point which is surrounded by the multiple external points and predetermined by the terminal 100, and determining a key value corresponding to the trajectory and direction of the touch by the user; and a step (b) of processing the instruction of the user which corresponds to the determined key value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
