<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for a rotary machine having excellent drain-erosion resistance in such environments as to directly contact a gas, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the component for a rotary machine, a ceramic hard film 3 is formed on the surface 1a of a base material 1. The density of droplets which exist on the surface 3a of the ceramic hard film 3 is set to be within 1,000 pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>, and the density of droplets having a mean particle size of≤1μm is set to be within 550 pieces/mm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
