PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operating feel when an administrator performs normal operation. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus which identifies a user through authentication at the time of log-in includes: a means for determining whether a log-in user is an administrator or a general user; and a menu control means which displays a menu screen. When the log-in user is a general user, the menu control means displays a general user menu screen for accepting instructions having operation content permitted to general users. When the log-in user is an administrator, the menu control means displays an administrator normal menu screen by adding an item for accepting instructions for administrator log-in to a general user menu as an initial state. When the item for accepting instructions for administrator log-in is selected, an administrator setting item for accepting administrator settings from the administrator is selectably displayed.
