PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high rigidity by making a bed so high beyond common sense and also mount numerous moving objects with a sufficient volume by forming guide ways of the moving objects to be horizontal and vertical guide ways. SOLUTION: The bed has two guide ways including a horizontal guide way as high as more than 1 m from a floor and a vertical guide way formed to be at a right angle with respect to the horizontal guide way. A spindle stock is fixed to the vertical guide way. One or more tool posts or/and tool spindle stocks are mounted to the vertical guide way or/and the horizontal guide way. One or more steady braces are mounted to the vertical guide way to be movable in the Z-axis direction. A tailstock is mounted to the vertical guide way to be movable in the Z-axis direction.
