PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, compact and inexpensive high lift work vehicle capable of small turn, by reducing the number of part items with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This high lift work vehicle 1 has a moving vehicle 3 and a lifting boom device 5. The lifting boom device 5 includes a support post 25 uplifted from a vehicle body frame 9 of a rear part of a driver's seat 7, a first lifting boom 29 rotatably connected to an upper end part of the support post 25, a second lifting boom 33 rotatably connected to a free end part of the first lifting boom 29, a lifting basket 35 connected to the free end side of the second lifting boom 33 in a state of keeping a horizontal attitude, and a lifting cylinder 37 arranged between the gravity center vicinity of the second lifting boom 33 and a lower end part of a support post 25 in a state of noninterfering with the first lifting boom 29.
