<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log data-managing device (PC) which efficiently stores and manages the log data of an image-processing device (MFP). Ž<P>SOLUTION: The control part 20 of the log data-managing device includes: a log data-collecting part 21 which obtains log data, which contain a plurality of items and the data corresponding to the items, from an image-processing device; a pattern-generating part 22 which analyzes the log data and arranges the items in descending order from the data of higher degree of duplication to the data of prescribed degree of duplication to generate typified patterns; and a log data storage processing part 23 which stores the information, which indicates the generated patterns, and the data which are not patterned, in the RAM of the image-processing device.
