IMAGE REPLAY METHOD AND APPARATUS USED IN AN X-RAY SECURITY INSPECTION SYSTEM

An image replay method and apparatus used in a security inspection system is disclosed. The apparatus includes an operating component (15) to facilitate user input; a display monitor (10) for displaying scanned images; a memory device for storing the images captured by the image capture device (16); a buffer storage (12) for storing the images read from the memory device; a controller (14) for reading out the images corresponding to a range designated by an image-replay command inputted by users through the operating component (15) and storing said images in the buffer storage (12); and a display controller (11) for responding to commands and controlling the display monitor (10) to display images from the buffer storage (12). When a new image is captured by the image capture device (16) during the image replay process, the display controller (11) controls the display monitor (10) to display the new captured image.
