<p>Lower power consumption is achieved with a multiplexed frequency receiver that receives signals multiplexed with multiple frequencies. The receiver is provided with a first filter, a second filter having frequency characteristics that differ from those of the first filter, a receiving unit for producing demodulated data from an input electrical signal, and an AC-DC converting unit for converting the input electrical signal to a DC signal and obtaining the power required for circuit operation. Operation to input a first frequency, from the multiple frequencies, to the receiving unit and produce demodulated data, and operation to input the first frequency to the AC-DC converting unit and obtain power, are performed in time division. In parallel with the time division operations, operation to input a second frequency to the receiving unit and produce demodulated data, and operation to input the second frequency to the AC-DC converting unit and obtain power, are performed in time division.</p> |
