<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multistage transmission capable of exhibiting both a speed change function having a degree of freedom for setting a high speed change ratio including a speed increasing ratio and a clutch function for switching transmitting/blocking of torque and reducing a spin loss of transmission torque at each position of a speed change ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The multistage transmission includes an input disk 15 provided to an input shaft 3, an output disk 16 provided to an output shaft 4, and a pair of pressure rollers 17 which are provided to be movable along an axes connecting line connecting axes O<SB>3</SB>and O<SB>4</SB>of the input and output shafts 3 and 4, and which hold and press the disks 15 and 16 at a position corresponding to a required transmission ratio. A plurality of input side ridged portions 15a-15g, formed on the input disk 15 and output side ridged portions 16a-16g formed on the output disk 16 are configured such that the entire length of the two-axes connecting line is divided into an input-side driving radius and an output-side driving radius, both determined based on the required transmission ratio, and that an apex of an input-side ridged portion and an apex of an output-side ridged portion are arranged to oppose each other on the two-axes connecting line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
