<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analysis method for efficiently outputting a reliable measurement result by reporting a potential failure of an electrode before transferred to an outputting step of outputting the measurement result. <P>SOLUTION: In this automatic analysis method, components in a sample and the potential of calibration liquid are measured using an ion selective electrode and reference electrode, respectively, and the measurement result of the components in the sample based on the measurement result of the potential of the calibration liquid. The automatic analysis method comprises a monitoring step of acquiring the potential of the calibration liquid at each predetermined time, a step of reporting an error when the acquired potential of the calibration liquid exceeds a predetermined tolerance, and an output step of outputting the measurement result of the components in the sample when at least the potential of the calibration liquid is within the predetermined tolerance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
