<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism which excels in space efficiency and gives an operational the sensation that a toner cartridge is attached, even with a simple constitution, and to provide an image processing device which includes the mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: An equipment body 30 includes the locking mechanism for attaching a toner cartridge 10 to the equipment body 30. The locking mechanism has a locking part 5, a part to be locked 6 and a supporting part 7b. The locking part 5 has a projecting part 5a projecting from an insertion side end 10a of the toner cartridge 10. The part to be locked 6 projects toward the toner cartridge 10 side and includes a recessed part 6c engaged with the projecting part 5a. An aperture 6d for inserting the projecting part 5a is formed in the recessed part 6c. According to such a constitution, the recessed part 6c is elastically deformed, when the projecting part 5a is inserted in and when it is pulled out. More specifically, by inserting the projecting part 5a in the aperture 6d, the aperture 6d is gradually widened along the projecting part 5a.
